Terms of use
Last updated 28 September 2026
By creating an Almostry account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. They’re short on purpose.
Who we are
Email hello@almostry.com; privacy and grievances: privacy@almostry.com.
What Almostry is, and isn’t
Almostry is a tool for understanding your own money. Its numbers (what’s truly yours to spend, forecasts, which card to use, payoff order, what a prepayment saves, interest estimates) are calculations from what you enter, and can be wrong if that information is incomplete or out of date.
- It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Almostry is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, a bank, a lender or a payment service. Check important decisions against your bank’s statements and, where it matters, a qualified adviser.
- It never moves money. It can’t make payments, transfers or investments on your behalf.
- It doesn’t connect to your bank. Balances are only as current as what you log.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older, and an account is for one person.
- Keep your password and devices safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account; tell us at once at support@almostry.com if you think someone else has access.
- Only add a friend’s phone number if they’re happy for you to.
- Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break in, probe for weaknesses, overload it, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your data
What you put into Almostry stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or delete your account at any time.
Paid plans
Almostry is free during early access. The planned prices are on the Pricing page; if you join before paid plans start, every feature you use then stays free for you. When paid plans are added, the price (including taxes) and what’s included will be shown before you pay, and cancellation and refunds will follow our Refunds page.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Almostry running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from decisions made using Almostry’s numbers, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Households
You can share chosen accounts and bills with people you invite. Share only what’s yours to share, invite only people who’d want it, and remember that anyone in your household can see what you tick until you untick it or leave.
Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like from Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why when we can.
Changes and law
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll email you before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
